MyWaifuList – March 24, 2020 – Within the last hour, image gallery viewing has temporarily been disabled for regular users. To clarify, This is specifically in relation to the “Gallery” tab found on individual character entries. Uploading images to them is still enabled, but users won’t be able to view the galleries themselves.

The disabling of this feature shouldn’t impact Staff’s ability to moderate the website or users ability to upload and view the attached image during the character submission process. MyWaifuList has been experiencing exponential growth over the last year, and due to current circumstances, it is necessary for us to reduce operating costs.

We are currently considering a few different options regarding this and other features, but for the time being have decided to suspend this feature indefinitely.

While It would be ignorant of us to ask others for donations considering the current climate, we do happen to have a Patreon page that currently helps us balance our overhead. We hope to eventually see this support the website without the need for additional out-of-pocket costs, but we aren’t at that point quite yet.
